Darn Cold

My step-son brought home a bad cold from his fathers house this weekend. And today I am real sick with it. I hate when I get sick from others and glad I still have one vacation day left for work.

With kids around you are always going to risk getting sick from others. Schools are a major germ playground. The way kids are, things spread like wildfires. So no matter where you got it from the chances are that you are going to be exposed to germs when you have kids around.

Oh gosh yes. Just be glad it wasn't something worse. It could have been head licke-Yech! My kids went through that last year and we cleaned several times before it finally got eradicated. We had to throw out all of the soft toys too to get rid of the little blighters.

That would tick off one cold virus from the list of the many cold viruses you can get around. You can bring it to the office and share it when you get back to work.
