Family Skating Rink

Every winter I get out and build a hockey rink on our pond. I put boards all around the perimeter and set up goals at each end. I even string lights so we can play hockey at night or just go for a skate. That is I've done this every winter until this one. So far, the pond just won't stay frozen with the mild winter. I'm still hoping. Does anyone else make a rink in the winter?

That is so cool! I can see why you are having issues this year though. I live in Florida so as you can imagine, an outdoor ice hockey rink is beyond my capabilities.

Awesome! I wish I had a pond so I could do this. I hear you about the mild winter, it's irritating! We have not been ice skating at all yet. Nothing will freeze and stay frozen.
