Fathers and Sons in Politics

I was just looking at the article and couldn't help but be struck by how many people in politics have family that have been in politics. Of course, as with many professions, the skills can run in the family and it can be like "going into the family business," but how do you feel about leaving something like our laws and policies up to the same basic genetic pool?

Children most often take their parents as their role model, so it is logical that they should follow their footsteps. And their parents can guide them better when they take over from them. I don't think that's too bad, except when the footsteps falter from the righteous path.

I agree with the saint that having fathers and sons isn't bad if they stay on a righteous path. It seems like we're on a collision course with the NWO now, and it doesn't matter who is running the government.

Ugh, don't even mention the NWO - that scares the hell out of me. As for fathers and sons in politics, I don't think it's a bad thing. There are a lot of cases of kids following their father's footsteps in politics, but there are also a lot of people in office who don't have otherwise political families. I think it all balances out.
