First time "dad" at 43!!

Hi guys, as my name depicts I am the new guy in town. I have recently married and become "insta-dad" to a pre-teen girl (do they get better after 12??) and a 14 year old boy. The hardest thing that I am adjusting to is being the stay at home parent and keeping the kids occupied and even learning if I can slip it in LOL What are some ways to keep the kids occupied and out of trouble, and out of the living room!?

I would say the easiest thing to do is to give each kid a computer. After that they may not even be aware if you are around or not. Just make sure that they don't neglect their school work and remember to eat.
