How old is too old for a stroller?

At what age does your child stop using a stroller? Over the holiday weekend I saw a lot of kids in strollers, as old as 5 or 6.

That depends on the occasion. I don't think there's anything wrong with a stroller in the mall for shopping, or using one if you walk to exercise. Toward the end of shopping, kids get tired and tired means cranky. Also, a stroller means you don't have to slow down. Just walking in the park, or down the street, 3 is a good age to stop.

It really depends upon the child. If you are on a long walk and you wind up carrying a sleepy, grumpy, tired five year old, a stroller is in order. It is important for the child to learn to walk longer and longer distances but if you are the one gaining the most muscle from carrying the child, it's not working.
