I always wanted to be a father, but I guess I never really went any further than that. After being a father for over 11 years now, it is much more of everything than I ever expected. More rewarding, more difficult, more fulfilling ......more than I imagined.

I would definitely have to agree with that. I wasn't sure I even wanted to be a father but now that I am it is so much more than I ever could have imagined.

Agreed! You do not know what it is like to be a father until you are actually at that stage and have gone through the whole experience. It is really nice to see your children grow up though!

I never gave it much thought to be honest. But it is a learning experience. It has its challenges, and I am not looking forward to her teenager years. I think I am more understanding of other people's kids.
