School is winding down - plans?

What kind of family activities do you have planned for the summer? Are you able to take time off work to be able to do fun things? We are planning a lot of long weekend camping trips!

Nope, I don't get time off whenever I want. I'm in the army and I do what I'm told! I can apply for leave in the Summer, however, and I usually take my daughters away to visit my parents for a week, then my ex takes them somewhere for a week. I still get to spend weekends with them unless I'm posted away.

First off let me thank you for serving our country. I applaud you and everyone like you. I think it's great that you get to see your kids each weekend. My brother was in the army for 22 years. I know exactly how hard it was to get time off when he wanted.
