Trusting your lawyer

I've been through a couple different lawyers since this debacle started and I'm about to hire yet another one. At this point, I'm just jaded with the whole profession and I'm having a hard time trusting that they are going to do what they say they will do. How did you find a lawyer that you actually have confidence in?

I feel for you! I did not trust mine and I ended up firing him and representing myself. I would not recommend that either! Ask your friends and family members advice on lawyers they may have had or know personally.
