What to do with all of the free time?

My divorce will finalize next month. It looks like my soon to be ex-wife will have custody of my son but I will have visitation rights. This is going to open up a lot of free time for me. I don't have any idea what I will do with it. I feel sad but also slightly excited. What did you do with your free time when you became single again?

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I am in a similar situation, and think that having too much empty time is not going to be a positive thing for me. I am thinking about maybe going back to school part-time. You could also do something like coach a team or do some volunteering, especially during the holiday time.
