Who do you tell and when?

Who do you tell you are now expecting and when do you tell them? Do you wait until after the first trimester is over or tell everybody sooner?

They wife tells me I need to wait. About two months I think she said. I do not know if I could do that.

It depends I guess. For the first kid ---- as soon as we were out the doctor's office we were short of shouting it from the mountaintops! LOL

My wife gets on the horn as soon as she reads the pregnancy tests. I suppose couples who have had problem pregnancies or miscarriages want to wait to make sure everything is okay first.

My wife and I just kept it to ourselves and close family (her mother). We usually don't announce it to the rest of the world until after the first trimester.

We just posted on facebook and sent out a mass text message. Problem was too many people tried calling at once though.
