I do not keep that much, but I do have some hidden.Wallet, keys and cell phone are definites. Toolkit and spare change are always in the truck. I also have a $50 hidden there but don't tell my kids!
My philosophy on this is that I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. You never know what might happen these days. Both my wife and I have our CCW's and we carry anytime we leave the house.I never leave the house without my wallet, car keys, and my cell phone. I don't have a weapon or anything like that but I don't feel like I should where I live. Or maybe I should just in case. Might be a good idea..
Not only do I carry, I take a bi-annual handgun combat training in addition to constant target practice at a shooting range. Other than that the basics, cell phone and a wallet and that’s it. I keep a extra stash of cash and a disposable cell phone in the glove box for a just in case.My philosophy on this is that I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I have been looking into a similar class that is supposed to run you through different self-defense drills and "real-life" (except for they are of course practice) scenarios. I really want to do it, but it is $800 for a two day class plus you have to have an average of 600 rounds. Ammo's not cheap! My wife just got her CCW so now she is armed too. If we both leave the house together we have 62 rounds between us (loaded weapon, and an extra mag each) anytime we leave the house. God willing neither one of us will never "need" a single round.Bear, I concur with you one this one...
