We had a strike when I was a child but thankfully none of my kids' teachers went on strike. Teachers, especially nowadays, have to put up with so much for so little.

I think it might be a small way of exerting their independence. "You gave me this but I'm only going to eat this." They probably don't realize that's why they're doing it.

I totally agree! I think it had a lot to do with the timing. It's geared for a younger audience so that bad guy sticks with you forever. I did love watching Margaret in the Maxwell House coffee commercials.

I don't know how old you are but is it really too late or are you just more comfortable not having kids? No judgement here, some people are better suited to being childless.
