    How did you know?

Same. I mean, you just know. The wandering eyes stop, you don't feel the need to look for someone else anymore. More importantly, you start thinking of future plans and of things that you both want for the future (like kids).

    Have you ever hidden it?

No. On the contrary, I've pretended to be married when I found myself in a situation where I didn't like the attention, and have worn a fake right when dating, when I had trouble dealing with people at work.

    Babies at the Movies

I suppose that makes a little more sense, but really, I wouldn't do it. It's far better to leave little one at home, comfortable and not having to put up with the loud noises often involved in many movies.

    Scary Movies

Tonight we are watching 'It'. We like scary movies, but we don't have a lot of time to watch nowadays. In truth we'll probably both be asleep before the end of the movie.

    Home Improvement

How many stories high is your house? If it's more than one story, how high can you reach, or else how do you reach the top of the house in order to stain all the way up there?

    How Often do You Cook?

Do you take the occasional turn at cooking dinner for your wife, or for your family? How often to you do it, and do you think that you cook often enough?

    Home Improvement

Yeah, I want to fix the garden up. Right now it isn't anywhere near suitable for a kid to play in. I know I have some time before I have to worry about little man running around-but I don't want to leave it till the last minute.

    I can't imagine!

I watch my parents and I wonder how the heck they are not already divorced. They bitch at each other all the time. And yet-it works for them. I guess the thing is that no matter what their faults, they have learned to accept them.

    Finding a Babysitter

How old was the baby the first time you took a night off? I'd really like to take the baby to the grandparent's, and us-honestly I'd like to just sleep. But the wife thinks that baby is too young. With nursing, I can see that, but still I hope it won't be long.

    I hate it...

If I want something in particular then I cook it. At the moment I'm cooking a lot anyway, so it's great for me choosing, but when she's cooking that's fine too-I'll eat whatever is put in front of me.

    Finances

We have a joint account, and personal accounts. The dealings that are involved with the joint account we talk about. We talk about savings too, though we keep them separate. And we also discuss pension investment options.

My daughter failed her permit test

Practise, practise, practise. There's no way around it, she just needs to put in the time and the effort. But why isn't she bothered? Do you think that perhaps she doesn't feel ready to drive?

Are you friendly with your neighbors?

We don't really talk much to them. We are end of a row, and there are only three houses in total. We've never seen the person at the end, and see the guy next to us maybe a couple of times a month.

    Missing Milestones

When you are away at work all day, do you ever wonder what milestones you are missing back at home? I can't help but feel sad at the things that I'm missing.

    Pressure

A lot is about realism and communication. If there's a problem, talk about it-don't leave them expecting more than you can realistically give, in any situation.

    Dryer sheet uses...really?

Yeah, it can still have a lot of the dryer stuff on them, and it then takes a proper cleaner to fix the screen. We spray them with an antibacterial spray and then use them as floor wipes.

    Fatherly Duties

How much do you do for or with your kid? And how much did you do right from the day that they were born? Did you feel it was enough?

    So Tired

When the baby is sleeping, I'm cleaning. Or at work. Or doing one of the one hundred and one things that I need to do to keep on top of things! I'm looking forward to the first night's sleep.

    Credit Cards

Credit cards are a big risk. I had one almost fresh out of school and got in trouble. I had to take extra hours in my part time job (I was in college) to pay it off, but I learned my lesson. Now I don't keep a credit card.

    Teaching Kids to Drive

I'm a patient man, but I would be cautious about doing this. I think I would play it by ear, and if it didn't work or was getting stressful, I'd ask little man's grandparents instead.
