I keep hearing from here and there that gas prices are expected to be $5 a gallon before the 4th of July this year. I don't know about you, but this would absolutely devestate our current budget.
I've been hearing that too and it would be a total disaster for my household. Current prices are a struggle for us, let alone $5. I can't even imagine the financial tailspin the country will be in if this happens.
That would suck! We'd definitely have to change our driving habits but I try not to drive as it is so it'd be tough. However, I've heard this prediction every year for the past 4 or 5 years and so far, so good.
I really hope that is not the case. We already penny pinch and second only to food for us and the pets is gas prices. All of our other bills are very small compared to what we spend at the gas pumps each month.
