Any tips?

Now that the kids are back in school and I have more time to myself, I know I should be more disciplined about working out. Any tips for getting back into the habit now that summer is over?

I go three times a week rain or shine as soon as I got up. I bought a gym membership so I'd know I'd go or the money would be wasted.

That could actually work pretty well for me. I could swing by the gym on the way back from dropping the kids off at school. Good thought!

Just one thing to think about---it takes three weeks on average to form a new habit. My suggestion is to ease into it and don't try to go whole hog at first. I have that tendency, and I have to be careful so I don't over-do in the beginning.

I'm working on it myself. I'm forcing myself after checking on the business in the morning to get a half hour workout in. The only thing I can think of is to motivate yourself. I get a small dark chocolate bar after my workout.
