Arsenic in Chicken Meat

According to an article I read, the FDA has known for many years that arsenic is added to chicken feed, but they said it was eliminated through feces. It appears they've changed their minds and it is not eliminated, but that chicken meat containing arsenic in low amounts is safe to eat. My wife stopped buying chicken and most beef. I'm glad she did.

Honestly, I would not worry about this. I just had some blood tests done for heavy metals. They also checked for arsenic. I do not have levels of arsenic in my system and I eat nothing but chicken and turkey, no read meat.
