My wife doesn't want to breastfeed the baby when it comes because she feel like it will be a ball and chain that will cause her to miss out on life. I think she should do it because it is the best for the baby. How can I convince her to do it?
Wouldn't carrying around formula and everything else be a burden? We have to bottle feed our son, and it is a pain sometimes. You have to carry around bottles and then warm them, so it takes a while once he starts crying for food.
If it's not something she wants to do I wouldn't push it. Some women are just not comfortable with it, and some women physically can't. Just support however she wants to feed the baby, and don't worry so much about "convincing" her.
