Career changes

Have you ever felt the need to make a career change? If so, what were the reasons prompting this? Did you follow through with it? Was it a good choice?

 

[Timothy]

I've definitely been here before. Stressful job circumstances put me there more than anything, although lack of money was also a motivating factor. However, I actually make less now than I did before I changed careers. Still, with so much less stress to deal with, I'm much happier now.

 

[Jack]

Standard of living and quality of life are definitely two different things. I think that the key to however a person defines "success" is finding the right balance between the two.
