V Verny New Member Apr 1, 2010 #2 I chose charcoal because I think it is healthier if the food is cooked on charcoal. I would choose propane if it is for heating only. The problem with charcoal is it takes longer time to fire it up.

J jblack New Member Jul 16, 2010 #3 Propane is just too fast and easy to pass up. If I had the time I might try charcoal.
