I'm sure that some of us live in places where rodents or insects pose a health risk when they come into our homes - how do you control that issue without putting your kid's health at risk? Luckily my stepdaughters are old enough to know not to touch the little roach/ant poison traps I put out.

It can be rough. I'm dealing with the same type of problem. I have put locks on the kitchen cabinet and cupboard doors so she can't get into the stuff under the sink. But my little one is only three.
