Divorced grandfathers

I saw a thread here discussing the effects of divorce on families. As a grandfather whose marriage broke up after 20 years and 3 children, I can tell you the effects never end. I thought being single again was complicated. Then I became part-time caretaker and financial supporter of my son's child. My son makes minimum wage, which is not enough to pay for this child. He is not with the child's mother. Complicated is the word.
