I live in a flat and haven't had a garden in years. I miss having somewhere to potter about and somewhere for my son to get his hands dirty. What about you?
I have never had a green thumb. However, my parents have always had a big vegetable garden. I always get a big basket of fruits and vegetables whenever I visit them. I also get some great canned stuff.
I wouldn't mind not having a garden for the work involved as I don't much like mowing the lawn, but we have a large dog so it's a necessity really. Also the wife likes growing vegetables and the kids like having a trampoline!
