Domestic bullying

How would you deal with domestic bullying? It doesn't happen to my family but it does to my brother's. The eldest is constantly bullying her younger sister when the parents are not there.

Have you considered discussing your observations with the child who is doing the bullying? She probably thinks no one is aware of what she is doing.

Are the parents aware of the situation? Bullying of younger siblings by older ones is normal to some degree, but if there is any possibility of harm coming to the little one they don't need to be left alone together.

In my opinion, domestic bullying can be worse than other types of bullying. This means that the child does not even feel safe in their own home. It is something that absolutely must be taken care of. I think a lot of this problem arises from jealousy and just immaturity.
