Electric Cars

Does anyone out there have an electric-powered vehicle? We are considering making that our next purchase, since the price of gas just keeps rising. We don't know anyone who owns one, though, so we don't know how reliable they are, how often they need maintenance, how expensive the repairs are, etc., etc., etc.

I've been wondering about these cars, too. We saw a small one this morning parked at a restaurant that looked like a box on wheels. It was called the Cube, or something similar. I wonder about the power and if I'd be patient enough to drive it for long.

I don't have an electric car. I doubt I would get one even if I had enough money to buy it. I think I would just wait for a few years till the cars are reliable enough drive on the road.
