Family Trip to Disneyland

I'm planning to take my family to Disneyland next month. It will be an exciting trip for us especially to my kids. I want them to enjoy the rides and see beautiful castles. My daughter is dying to take photos of her favorite cartoons characters. We are all excited for the incoming trip. Any tips for first timer?

I've never been to Disneyland, but have been to Disneyworld quite a few times growing up. I would say to make a schedule of what exactly it is that you want to do. I can guarantee you probably won't get to hit everything you want in just one day at any given park, if you do not plan ahead.

If you can afford it, they sell quick passes now for the rides. It shortens the wait on the rides. I've seen 2+ hour waits on some rides, but with the quick pass it can be as quick as a half hour.

That and nothing is cheap. If you can sneak i some of your own water or snack.
