First Blood

I think that's the name of it - the HBO vampire series based in Louisiana. Anyway, a friend of mine recommended this to me recently and I was wondering if anyone here has seen it. If so, did you like it?

I think you might be talking about the HBO series True Blood. I caught a few episode of it, but we canceled our movie channels to save a little money. What I saw was fine, but right now I'm a bit burnt out on vampire stories.

Yes True Blood is good and another I watch is The Gates, both are kind of crazy when it comes to the vamps and the wares. I love the idea behind it and we have some weird setup with Uverse so those types of channels are free or discounted, we record almost everything we watch.

MilwaukeeJoe - I know what you mean about being burned out on the vamp stuff, but my buddy highly recommended this so I thought it might be worth looking into.

Lamant - What is The Gates? I've never heard of that one. Is it another pay channel series?
