Since I've been a grandfather, I've learned how important it is for grandparents to back up the parent's decision, even if we do not fully agree with it. Some of my friends don't do that and it causes a lot of problems between them and their kids. The grandkids pick up on being able to go to grandma and grandpa when mom and dad say no, too. Has anyone experienced this?
