I have a step son and a infant and latley the step son has been acting out. As soon as his mom gets home from work he is fine, but during the day not so much. I watch movies, color, work on flash cards, and play trucks and cars with him but then he goes off and gets into something or yells at me or wakes up the baby by getting in his crib with him. Is this just a normal phase for a 4 year old?

Four year olds are little terrors, and this one has a new kid to contend with. Perhaps you should concentrate on him more when the baby is asleep? He might be feeling pushed out somehow.
