My wife hasn't seemed very happy lately and she is a lot less affectionate than she used to be. I don't want to get a divorce and I am worried she might want to. How can I tell if she wants a divorce?
If she's not talking about it than she probably hasn't decided yet. You should try to add some spark back to the relationship, maybe try talking to her about it. But sometimes people just fall out of love, so hope for the best prepare for the worst.
Maybe she is just undergoing a certain phase of her life that may be akin to menopause. Why don't you take her out and have a week end date with her to place where you can talk privately and do some private things?
Don't make assumptions, just try to find out somehow indirectly, if that doesn't work plain out ask her, one of two things will happen she will laugh and reassure you nothing is wrong or she will say yes.
