How did you propose?

For those of us that are married, how did you propose to your wife? I love reading stories of different ways that people did it, and think to myself....Why didn't I think of that?

For Mothers Day I woke up early, made her a big breakfast. I had George Strait playing Check Yes or No on repeat the whole time. I put breakfast out on the table, wrote on a piece of paper "Will you marry me" and had a box for yes and one for no. Put the ring at the top of the paper and a pen. Woke her up, brought her over to the table and sat her down. Took maybe a minute or two for her to realize the paper was there with the ring.
