Hurt ego?

Just wondering if staying at home while the wife works won't hurt the mans ego? After all we are programed to hunt and fend for our family, there are bound to be some confusion in the more primitive part of our brain when we don't accomplish that role.

I don't think it's the case. In this day and age nothing is for certain and you have to adapt to whatever the situation might be, especially with the job market the way it is.

I know what you mean. I tried staying at home for a while but it was my wife who insisted we change back. She didn't mind going to work when the kids were at daycare but she hated leaving when I stayed home.
