Should I just wing it? We are doing a small trip pretty soon and its a few hours drive away, I really am not looking to book in advance. Is it really worth it to save a few bucks?
I am a planner and wife is an extreme planner, so there's no way I'd be comfortable just taking a chance we'd find someplace to stay. I like to know my options and make a decision. But, that's just me...
We always book a hotel in advance. That is my greatest fear that we would randomly decide to go on a trip at some point, and then not be able to find a place to stay. Wouldn't that be a shame?
