Library Time

We go to the library every Monday and she loves picking out books. We have recently started reading chapter books a few chapters a day. She loves this time that we spend together.

Luckily, our daughter is staying at a babysitter's this summer that makes reading time a vital part of their day. She takes them to the library on Wednesdays. They all pick out books. Their reading time is one hour a day, complete with pillows. So far it's working great.

We don't go as often as we used to. The kids are a bit older now. We used to take them all the time when they were younger. I think taking your kids to the library is a wonderful way to bond with them. My oldest has been begging to go, but we haven't taken her yet. I am afraid she and her one year old brother will get us kicked out. Seriously, happened to my cousin awhile back!
