Never friends?

I was not married before but I do have an ex I will have in my life off & on for the rest of my life. Is it ever possible to be friends again, especially when kids are involved or are you just putting a front on?

It just depends on the people involved. I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt my ex and I will never be friends. We didn't get along when we were married, we don't get along now, and we never will. If you and your ex are capable of being civil that may eventually lead to a friendship. It probably helps if both you actually want to be friends. Plenty of people manage to do it, but it's really up to you and her and the circumstances.

It depends on the people, I know ex couples who can't stand to be in the same room and I know some that make you wonder if they are still hooking up. While I never was divorced I was in a three year relationship with somebody before my wife and we are still good friends.
