Pregnancy scare

Just got the news that my wife's pregnancy scare was exactly that. Neither of us really want to expand the family and we've started talking about making this a permanent decision. Any guys been through the op? How did you decide who should be the one to have it?

Well that is great if you did not want any more kids. Neither of us have decided to make it permanent yet. We aren't sure 100% that we don't want more kids. If you are sure, then do it!

We were confronted with this issue also. I talked to my doctor about it. It's an out patient procedure for men. Not so for women.

I've not been through the procedure but know men and women who have. My personal decision would be to have the procedure done. It is a much simpler procedure for men than for women with fewer risks.

This is not a decision we are ready to face yet either, but I think as far as risks go having the procedure done myself would be much safer than my wife having surgery again.
