Snowboarding?

My son wants me to snowboard with him tomorrow! I told him I would think about it. I've never done this before, never even have been downhill skiing. I'm a bit scared! Anyone ever done this?

I would try it but get the pads they let you rent at the stores. A friend told me these are a great live saver when you are down for the count. She said they also have bum pads that work too!

I tried it without pads - just my snowsuit. It was a ton of fun. I have to admit I was on my face and backside more then I was on my feet. My son took pictures of me and laughed a lot. To be honest, I can't wait to go again!
