I would like to meet more single fathers who live in my area. I do have a lot of friends, but none of them are divorced with kids. Is it worth joining some kind of local support group? I want to make buddies, not talk about problems!
The term 'support group' could be misleading, I expect some of them are more like social groups. Why not find one and try it out? Or join some other local society where you will have the chance to meet others.
