surprise bills

We ended up with one from over the weekend, forgot to get the mail on Saturday and went out this morning to grab a huge water bill. No idea what is going on so we are having a friend of the family head out to check all the piping in the house, better not be a leak either.

I know someone that woke up 2 days before Christmas to find they needed to replace a broken main water line in their front yard. Talk about an extremely unexpected and expensive bill right around the holidays, yuck!

Wow... that stinks. We live in the country so we have a well (no water bill). I hate unexpected bills though. Did you have a leak? I hope not as that might be expensive too.

A friend of mine just got a nice vet bill this morning because her dog got lose and was hit by the neighbors car. The dog is fine but I really think her vet is over pricing her for the stuff, only two x rays and a visit (that had to get scheduled) was over 600 bucks!
