My parents called me up yesterday and want me to take the kids up to the farm this week so they can pick out their pumpkins! I think it is way to early to be picking pumpkins Halloween is still a month away! Won't they rot by then?
Well you could paint them for now and they will last longer. Then you can carve them later if you really want to. Still I think it is a little bit early for pumpkins.
I like to get the pumpkins sometime around the first or second week of October. I get a few for carving and then some to just put around the house decoratively. The ones I don't carve usually last until Thanksgiving.
