Trips without the kids.

Well the kids can take care of themselves now, but back when they were younger I'd ask my brother to watch over them from time to time so I can get some away time with wife, needless to say we were and still are much more relaxed and productive after these 1-2 day trips . It also helps in reminding us why we fell for each other in the first place. Do you do this or prefer to have the house to your self instead?

It's much more easier to set it up so that we are home alone than for us to take a trip, so this is what we opt for usually. I think every couple needs some time for themselves without having to worry about what the kids are going to do next.
