I took the task of cleaning out the refrigerator the other day, and I was surprised to find so much wasted food in there like bits and pieces of everything that has dried up.
Yeah, that's always been my job, of course. What a mess. Spills that seemed small suddenly, you find, are big, and puddled at the bottom of the fridge. There have been many tupperware containers that I've been scared to open, as well!
I am so grateful this is not my job. My wife takes this one on and does a good job. We don't keep too much extra food in the fridge, so that keeps stuff from getting shoved to the back and mutating.
My wife takes over this job, not me, thankfully. We keep more food then what we need in the fridge, and I am sure that some stuff gets pushed to the back and forgotten about. My wife has the lovely job of cleaning it out!
