When the wife gets sick....

When your wife is suffering from an infectious illness (like cold and flu), who will take care of the kids? What do you do to keep them from being infected?

I just went through with a pregnant sick wife, and a sick child over the Holidays. Makes work difficult, as I chip in more. But then she also yells at me. It started with my daughter getting sick, so there was no stopping her. But I drank about two glasses of OJ a day, and managed to come out with only getting slightly sick, enough to make me miserable, but still functional.

My wife and I live apart so when one of us is sick, our son stays with the other but I know how difficult it can be when this isn't an option. It's often better to have everyone sick at the same time, then it's over with quicker!
