When they look guilty.

My 6 year old came running into the living room from his room and just looked guilty all over. I was able to get him to tell me what was up and told him it's always better to tell the truth and face the consequences then to lie about it.

Are you able to talk the truth out of your little ones?

 

[Aiden]

I've always been able to do that with my children. I feel very lucky for that. I just make sure they know that by telling me, it's much better and they will get in much more trouble anyway if they lie about it and I find out on my own.

 

[Adam]

My little one is only 2, going on 3. I can almost always tell when she is guilty of doing something or not. It is written all over her face.
