Who Controls The Money?

In our home, my wife allocates our budget. I give her my whole salary and she returns to me my own allowance. Do you do this at home or do you control your own salaries?

Both of us, we tend to fight a little less that way.

With relationships in the past we have both had to learn the hard way that both need to be involved otherwise it is almost chaotic.

I trust my wife very much in handling money matters. I guess it's her expertise so all income and expenses in the house is on her hands. She's tracking it down monthly for budgeting. We never argue about money.

I usually do the budgeting and money handling. Things do go through the wife though, especially big decisions.
