Who does the grocery shopping in your household? My wife and I usually do it together on the weekends to keep her from having to get out with 2 small kids by herself. I like doing it that way because we decide together what meals to have for the week and take turns cooking.
Same here, between the two of us we make sure we don't forget anything, plus we also get to spend some time together, it's the little things that count. It also helps that if I let her do all of the shopping I would have had to go vegan years ago...
Its a switch off sometimes but most times it boils down to what we actually need. We try to be smart about who does what where, so we are not wasting gas with it being insanly expensive now.
