Wife is mad, what now

We noticed a mouse in the house a few weeks ago. I put getting traps on my to do list abut never got around to it. Now my wife is mad because there are more mice now and she ended up getting and setting the traps herself today. What's the big deal, why is she so mad at me?

I just start cracking jokes until she laughs. As she says, she cannot stay mad at me. The wife gets upset with me all the time because I'm busy doing things and will often forget.

I have been in that position more than once. However, we never go to bed mad so I just have to wait until bed time. I always get back on her good side by going to do something nice to my mother in law.

Apologize sincerely and profusely. Then try making her laugh, take her out to dinner or make dinner and tell her how much you love her. I have been in that position many times and it isn't pleasant.
