    Delivery Food: Chinese vs Pizza

Around here, the only two types of restaurants that deliver are Chinese and pizza joints. Between the two, which do you and your family prefer? Personally, I like pizza better, but my wife and mother LOVE Chinese food.

    Team workers?

Another lone ranger here, lol. I don't have any issues with working in a team, and it can be a great way to get a large task completed quickly, but my preference is to have total control over the job if it's going to have my name on it.

    Managing Stress

CHenne makes a good point - a kickboxing class would be a great way for her to relieve stress. You could also suggest yoga, as my wife swears by it. Personally, when I'm stressed out, I like to read.

    Buying used appliances

I would buy used under certain circumstances. If I knew the people I was purchasing from, or if the seller was offering a good warranty, or if the appliance was priced EXTREMELY cheap, then I would definitely consider buying used.

    Gender Preference

Dads and Dads-To-Be: During your wife's pregnancy, did you have a preference for the gender of the child? My wife always said she didn't care whether it was a boy or a girl, so long as the child was healthy. Now, we all want our child to be born healthy, but did you also wish for a specific gender?

    Taking Sides

Ronald, I sympathize with how you must feel, being stuck between the family you were born to and the family you've made for yourself. However, I also sympathize with your wife, because like Jonathan said, she probably thinks he harbored those feelings/opinions all along. My advice would be to...

    Learning on their own

If he refuses advice, I would stop offering it and wait until he starts asking for it. Some people insist on learning things the hard way, or at least learning them on their own. It may seem strange to you that he refuses your help, but from his point of view, he may be offended and think that...

    Favorite child?

I think it depends on what you consider "favoring". When one child excels in school while the other struggles, the child that excels is rewarded more than the child that struggles, but the child that struggles gets more attention and help. To the child that excels, seeing his sibling get all the...

    Electric Cars

Does anyone out there have an electric-powered vehicle? We are considering making that our next purchase, since the price of gas just keeps rising. We don't know anyone who owns one, though, so we don't know how reliable they are, how often they need maintenance, how expensive the repairs are...

    When Do You Know?

I think I agree with Blended. I think as long as the two of you are fighting, there is still a desire there to come to an agreement about the cause of the argument. When one spouse ceases fighting and says, "Fine, whatever.", or something to that effect, then you have a problem, because that...

    Like your own father?

My temper is just like my father's, as is my lack of patience. However, we both like to laugh and have a good time, we both love music and we pretty much have the same taste in music. Our palettes are similar where food and drink are concerned, and we both like to work with our hands.

    Special gift for the wife

Haha Wilson, I could see my wife saying something to that effect (about the flowers). In my experience, something that makes your wife comfortable is always a good idea, but especially after the birth of a child. What about pajamas, bedroom slippers, or a nice bath robe? Also, a heating pad...

    Exercise and Your Children

How do you make sure your children exercise everyday? Do you involve them in sports? When I was growing up, my mom made all of us boys play in Little League baseball. At first, I enjoyed the sport, but as it became more competitive and "cut-throat", I found myself losing interest. Now that I'm...

    Finding a new someone

BoyOBoy, have you considered looking for a friend at work? What about church, if you attend? Do you have any hobbies that both men and women congregate in? (Like working out at the gym, for example.) If you don't often find yourself in social situations involving women, have you given any...

    Health and pregnancy

First, I would inquire as to how serious the health risks are. If it's a matter of life and death, I would recommend adoption. Surrogacy is another option, but for some reason I imagine surrogacy is not as cut and dried as one woman simply carrying a child for another, so I don't think I'd...
