    Food Allergies

Aww poor kid! It really upsets me to see people going through having allergies. I've never been allergic to anything. If I were allergic to milk, that would KILL me! I once almost gave a child I was watching a peanut M&M when I was a teenager who was allergic to peanuts. I felt terrible for...

    Motivation

That's a really good point. Once you begin doubting, your kids are going to see it and they are going to lose focus. When you're out of sync, so is your entire family.

Should You be Honest With Them

It really depends on their age. When they are younger, I would tell them things that relate to what you kid is currently doing. As they age, you can tell them more. But make sure to show them that you realize it's wrong, you would take it back etc.

Kids Thinking We'll "Get Back Together"

There's no easy way to do it, but you must let them know that you love each other but you are better off apart. Depending on their age, there's only so much they can handle. They'll learn more when ready.

    Buying Step-Son His First Car

Honestly, I would feel a bit intimidated, but if that's what you want to do then I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean, you love them, so it makes sense.

    Kids "Diss" Their Real Father

I've dealt with the same thing and I do agree, it can be very hard. I don't know what to say, because they're right about what they're saying but then I don't want them to talk badly. It's tough.

    Father daughter dance

I've never done anything like that, but that sounds like a lot of fun. I would love to go to the school and get involved like that :) Good for you!

    Dating - parent

I think in the beginning of the relationship, it makes sens to hide it because you don't want to expose them to someone who may be out of their life soon. I think, give it time, feel it out and share it with them when you feel stable.

    Halloween

I know what you mean about the candy lol. I can't get enough of it. I love sharing it with my kids. It's great having kids because you can't go trick or treating without em hehehe:D

    Fights

I know how that is! I mean, all you can really do at this point is give her space and do things to show her that you love her. When you do talk, let her talk and try to stay quiet and listen well. That always helps me.

    Three Year Olds and TV

I think that works fine. However, when they go to their friends' houses, they are going to end up watching TV. I know what you mean though, things on TV are kinda iffy lately.

    How did you react?

Realizing I was going to be a dad was one of the most stressful, shocking, exciting, scary, awesome things ever. Nothing else in life can ever compare.

    I flunked Netflix.

I had Netflix but I really didn't like it. I really think they have a crappy movie selection and it sucks that all of my favorite stuff isn't available online. I was bummed out.

    Homework

I'm worried that when my kids get older, I won't be able to help them with their homework anymore. I'm not very good at math. Once my son gets into High School, I don't know if I can keep up

    Why can't it be easier?

I always ask myself this question. I mean, I feel that I treat my step-daughter the same as my own children but her and I just don't get along. I don't know what to do anymore. She just doesn't like me.
