I agree, to an extent. As long as you can keep your kids fed, and healthy, then I don't see a reason to not have kids. But, if you can't give them a safe life, then you would be selfish to have them.

I think waiting a year is a good idea, it will be good for him to have a friend there with him. But also, it gives him a year for you to teach him some stuff at home. I never got into to soccer when I was a kid, but it's a great thing for kids to get into, at any age.
