    Lochte versus Phelps

Phelps is a phenomenal athlete, there is no doubt about that. Lochte is also a phenomenal athlete. They each are the greatest in their own ways. I think Lochte is the greatest as far as attitude goes but if he had all the press time that Phelps had that could be different. Living in...

Who here would disown their children...

Not a chance!!! My child is my child regardless of who he or she loves and chooses to spend their life with. I would still be the father: giving the date the 3rd degree, making sure my child was treated with respect in the relationship and more

    Would You Breastfeed?

I have to agree with Joel, I would do anything it took for my children, and if it is a bonding time for mother and child wouldn't that make it a great bonding time for father and child? Bonding time is often hard for the father to come by so I believe any opportunity should be grabbed.

Talking while you are on the computer

The computer has become the 21st century phone and it only goes to figure that the same thing would apply. Remember when you were young and as soon as your parent got on the phone you would talk? Or when you got on the phone and your parent wanted to talk? LOL I think it happens to everyone!

    Colorado Shooting

Despite the choice of names Ravenfan is a smart man :p If he is worried about it he will bring it up, otherwise it may cause more problems than just letting it go. I think if he had any issues he would have brought it up by now. - signed a die hard Steelers Fan :p:p:p

    When is the time right?

With all the Chic-Fil-A uproar about them supporting family rights and the gay community saying it is wrong, I am sure the older children have heard it and have questioned or have questions. How do you go about talking about the right for gays to marry? even just the topic of homosexuality? Do...

    Setting Allowance

That is awesome!! That not only shows their responsibility in saving, even as "adults" in college, and the role model you were as a parent. It is rare to hear about kids saving these days, or even earning for that matter. So many children have everything handed to them now that they don't know...

    yardwork

I am actually the same way for pretty much the same reasons but also it teaches the little rug rats a little about responsibility. They know that if there was no work done that week there is no allowance. I'm old fashioned there too...they don't get money for nothing! Of course when it's snow...

Stay At Home Dads With Web Businesses

I have to agree with Foster, women have been multi-tasking and running the home business for ages...the only difference is it wasn't called work then. The women have long been expected to stay at home, cook, clean, shop, pay bills, etc...they are used to that aspect of it. That being said...

    Annoying Facebook posts

Oh my absolute most annoying Facebook post is the "pity post," this is the post by someone who is sick, breaking up, losing a job, etc. that feels like Facebook is their own personal Dear Diary!! Private matters should stay private and a pity post is likely to get an annoyed defriend....

Who plays the BEST bad guy

Ok guys, think of the best bad guy you have seen in movies and tell me who you think is the epitome of "bad guy" and while we are in that mode who makes the perfect "good guy"

    First time "dad" at 43!!

Hi guys, as my name depicts I am the new guy in town. I have recently married and become "insta-dad" to a pre-teen girl (do they get better after 12??) and a 14 year old boy. The hardest thing that I am adjusting to is being the stay at home parent and keeping the kids occupied and even...
